Learn More About Eating Healthy

To reach this goal, I'll read more books, blogs, and articles about diet and health.

1200 - 1500 Calories Daily

According to my sparkpeople.com plan, I need to eat 1200 - 1500 calories daily.

30 Minutes of Activity Daily

My plan is to get in at least 30 minutes of exercise daily. I get up and move between the commercial breaks of my favorite television programs, but for this goal, I'm talking about 30 continuous minutes of activity.

To meet my goal, I'm setting my alarm to wake me up 30 minutes earlier than normal.

Elliptical Machine 35 Minutes Straight

Through the month of August, I will work on my continuous exercise. My 1st goal is to be able to stay on the elliptical machine for 35 minutes straight. Right now, I can stay on it for about 12 minutes, then I take a break, and go back to it.

Lose 10 pounds

I think 10 pounds is a reasonable amount to lose in one month.
